Description

Terms like artificial intelligence, machine learning and deep learning are on everyone's lips. But what do they all mean and what is the difference between them? In machine learning, a computer program learns something about the state of the world based on data. If this learning takes place using a target data set, we call it supervised learning, otherwise it's unsupervised learning. There's a wide range of algorithms available for both concepts. We'll take a closer look at some of them here as examples.

What will you learn?

In the course, you'll learn, in four text lessons, what the terms artificial intelligence, machine learning and deep learning mean. You'll also learn how to find your way around in the world of machine learning. For example, what does overfitting mean, what do we need a test set for and why is the quality of data so important? Machine learning is always based on algorithms. In the following text lessons, we'll take a closer look at some of them: linear regression, decision trees and k-means.
